Photo competition winners 2007

First minister Alex Salmond with photo competition winners Nick Wright, Robert Douglas Gavin and Iain Stewart
On 5 February 2008, first minister Alex Salmond presented the winners of the Renfrewshire Council 2007 photography competition with their prizes.

The winning shots have been framed and are now on display in Renfrewshire House, the council's new HQ buildings in Cotton Street, Paisley.


First prize - £150 winner
Nick Wright took the first prize of £150 for this panoramic shot of Paisley taken from Gleniffer Braes:

Second prize - £75 winners
Robert Douglas Gavin took a second prize for his scupltured detail from the exterior of the Russell Institute as did Keith Orr for a moody interior shot of the Paisley Arts Centre.

Third prize - £40 winners
Third prizes were awarded to Iain Stewart for an easter view of the flowers outside Paisley Town Hall and to Nick Wright for views of Renfrew Town Hall spires and a rainbow over Formakin House.
