Provost Hails St Mirren’s Success

Renfrewshire's Provost Ronnie Burns congratulates St Mirren Football Club on their First Division Championship success. He said: " I would like to congratulate St Mirren in winning the league and their promotion to the Premier league. I am extremely delighted for the manager and the whole club which has experienced a great year including winning the Bell’s Cup.

Provost Burns added, "I wish St Mirren every success in the future and hope to see them go from strength to strength in the coming season. I have already offered my personal congratulations to the chairman and will be in discussions with the club to make sure that their recent achievement is celebrated."
