Ali Sati with his wife and baby girl Abrar Paisley Ali Sati
An International student from Reid Kerr College was so impressed with his stay in Paisley during his course of study, he named his newborn daughter after the local town. Electrical Maintenance student Ali Sati from Libya, was delighted when his wife gave birth at the RAH Maternity Unit in Paisley and named their baby girl Abrar Paisley Ali Sati.


Ali said, “I find the people in Paisley are so friendly and have enjoyed my time here, so we wanted to remind ourselves of our time here and show the people in our home country when we return that Paisley is a good place.”

On completion of his course, Ali and his family have now returned to Libya.
