Ombudsman's Commentary September 2006
The SPSO September Commentary has been published. This confirms that the Ombudsman has laid 23 reports before the Scottish Parliament, one of which relates to Renfrewshire Council and four relate to Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS Board.
Council pays tribute to Depute Provost Jean Goldie
Depute Provost of Renfrewshire Council, Jean Goldie sadly passed away on 19 September 2006. Jean, who had cancer, is survived by her husband David, three daughters and a son.
Minister announces Renfrewshire housing ballot date
Scottish Executive Communities Minister, Malcolm Chisholm, announced today in Paisley that the deadline for completed housing stock transfer ballot papers is noon on Tuesday 17 October 2006.
