Community funding

Are you a member of a community-run club or group? Do you need funding to pay for equipment, activities or services? Then this is the place to start...
There are a range of funders out there, such as Big Lottery, Heritage Lottery, trust funds and corporate funders (like Lloyds TSB, Abbey and Tesco) who are interested in supporting activities that benefit communities.
STOP PRESS: Big Lottery in Scotland is looking for people's views to help them decide what their funding priorities should be from 2009 onwards. They're also interested in hearing what you think about their activities and the support they provide.
If you have applied for funding, successfully or not; if you have enquired, or even just thought about, applying for funding; if you've visited their website when looking for funding; or even if you haven't been in contact with them before and simply wish to have a say in how Lottery money is spent in Scotland, we'd appreciate your taking the time to complete the survey which is currently available on their website. When completing the survey, you will need to answer the UK questions first, followed by the Scottish questions.
This community funding area of the website will help you find the funding to really achieve something with your group. Using the menu on the right, you can find out all you need to know:
- External Funding Newsletter - your regular update on new funds available.
- Funding Toolkit - a comprehensive guide you should read before applying for funding.
- Renfrewshire 4 Community - a database that you can search to find the right fund for you.
- Your Guide to Council Grants - important information about grants Renfrewshire Council provides.
