The George Street Service

The George Street Service takes a different approach to preventing homelessness.
They offer a customer-focussed multi agency response team who can help support clients with a wide range of housing and health-related issues and provide advice and assistance on a one to one basis and/or through group sessions.
The service work with a number of partner agencies including NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Workforce Plus, Advice Works and the Mental Health Team; who provide specialist advice surgeries at George Street. The service is open 8.45am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am to 3.55pm on Friday's.

Housing Advice and Homelessness Services also operates an emergency service for anyone made homeless outwith office hours. The telephone number for the out of hours service is freephone number: 0800 811 505 (free from BT landlines, although other providers and mobile phone providers may charge for these calls).
